Timely, transparent, courteous and caring from start to finish
I had a screening colonoscopy. I requested without sedation. I had to reschedule my appointment. Everyone in the office was friendly and efficient.
This was my first colonoscopy with Dr. McNerney. I have UC and must undergo this procedure every 2 years, and my former GI retired. I found Dr. McNerney pleasant and knowledgeable. I prefer a different prep, but I made it through and was clean as a whistle. Office and nursing staff very nice, and I was in, sedated, scoped and recovered in about an hour.
My first colonoscopy was a breeze. All questions were answered. Dr. and Staff were great
John's entire staff blends the right touch of lightheartedness with professionalism and actually reduced my stress level - VERY IMPORTANT! If you have any worries about using his services - rest assured - there is nothing to worry about here - while most people cringe at having these services - these people make it seem like a walk in the park. IMO, a very unethical and petty doctor... interested in ONE thing only... doing big dollar colonoscopies. I saw him twice and neither time did he even examine me, and I had some serious abdominal symptoms. All he wanted was to do a big dollar colonoscopy... though he admitted that my symptoms were very unlikely to be related to anything a colonoscopy would find. I told him that due to my abdominal bloating/distension, pain and nausea, I could not drink the high-volume colonoscopy prep he indicated, but he refused to consider... read more
Dr McNerney did a good job of explaining the procedure and results. He was very personable, patient and took the time to answer questions. The entire process from check-in to check-out was very efficient and all the staff was friendly and helpful. Very professional.
Very pleasant and professional. Obviously skilled and experienced. Would highly recommend.
