Dr. Abikhaled repaired my inguinal hernia. He carefully and unhurriedly explained my options before surgery, and he was very clear about what to expect after the procedure. I'm only 2 1/2 weeks out now from the operation, but I already have almost full range of motion, very little pain, and only the faintest incision scar. This guy is FANTASTIC. It was my first surgery at age 52, and I couldn't be happier with my choice of surgeon and my rapid rate of recovery. Look no further. Go with Dr. Abikhaled.

Me and my father both had a nissen fundoplication surgery with Dr. Abikhaled. It solved our acid reflux and both of us were up and working with in 2 weeks. Using the Davinci device for the surgery the scars were minimal and eventually disappeared. I thank Dr. Abikhaled and his staff for our speedy recovery. I would recommend surgery with him any day.
Dr. Abikhaled is an outstanding physician, insightful and informed in diagnosis, skilled in his surgical approach and caring in his manner with patients. He helped resolve a parathyroid problem that had troubled me for two years and had proven beyond the skill of twenty five other physicians I had consulted, including those at two highly regarded institutions outside of the Austin area. I highly recommend him.
