Twelve days ago I had Robotic laparoscopic bilateral hernia surgery with Dr. Abikhaled. He actually repaired 3 hernias which included my navel. The surgery took about 3 hours. After about a week, my soreness was almost gone & I'm feeling almost normal. As far as I can tell, he did a great job. I would recommend him to anyone. The only issue I had ...How on earth do you pronounce his last name? Just remember " abby-call-ed" and say it fast. That's close enough.
Dr. Abikhaled performed emergency surgery on my son to find the cause of uncontrolled gastrointestinal bleeding, found the problem and saved my son's life. He has an excellent bedside manner, listens well, answers all questions and pays attention to detail. You couldn't ask for a better doctor.
Dr. Abikhaled repaired a hernia for me. He is very skilled, professional, and personable. I would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone needing a skilled surgeon in the Austin area. The entire process went exactly as he described it in our pre-Op meeting and the recovery is proceeding nicely. Likewise, his staff was very efficient and personable and the office facility was good.
Dr. Abikhaled was recommended to me for a hernia. I had surgery on 12/30/14 and was a bit nervous but the staff at Austin Surgery Center was excellent. Dr. Abikhaled did an awesome job. Recovery was easy with very little pain and incision hardly noticeable. I would HIGHLY recommend Dr. A for Hernia and all other surgeries. I was completely impressed. Thank you Dr. Abikhaled!
Dr. Ahibhaled is very knowledgable, professional, and friendly. He repaired a hernia for me 8 years ago, with excellent results. When I developed another hernia, he was the only doctor I considered for the procedure. Once again, the results were excellent. If I need surgery in the future, he will be my first choice.
Dr. Abikhaled removed my gallbladder this summer. I had been sick for a while and bounced around to a few doctors about what was wrong with my GI tract. He was very thorough and honest about the surgery and I felt like I was making a knowledgeable decision. He performed the surgery laparoscopically, the recovery was great and I feel so much better. I found Dr. Abikhaled to be personable, knowledgeable, answered my questions thoroughly. He has an easy, though efficient manner and a great smile. His handshake is one of confidence and sincerity. My thyroidectomy was not by the book, but after surgery, I had almost no discomfort, slept well, and by his word he was back the next morning to double check, reitterate instructions. Before I met Dr Abikhaled, I consulted with another surgeon, who proposed a more extensive surgery than what I was expecting. I was surprised to learn this type of surgery is the traditional procedure for my medical diagnosis.
