Dr. Abikhaled is very friendly and incredibly thorough on making sure you understand your situation. I hope to never have to use his services again but 100% would go back if I needed too. His staff is also super welcoming and friendly.

Twelve days ago I had Robotic laparoscopic bilateral hernia surgery with Dr. Abikhaled. He actually repaired 3 hernias which included my navel. The surgery took about 3 hours. After about a week, my soreness was almost gone & I'm feeling almost normal. As far as I can tell, he did a great job. I would recommend him to anyone. The only issue I had ...How on earth do you pronounce his last name? Just remember " abby-call-ed" and say it fast. That's close enough.
I could not be happier with the results of the surgery Dr. Abikhaled performed on my stomach. I had no post-surgery problems and the recovery time was minimal. He described the procedure to be done in detail so that I understood exactly what to expect during the surgery, and after. This enabled me to have complete confidence and rest easily as I anticipated the procedure. His office staff were friendly, helpful and accommodating. I highly recommend Dr. Abikhaled.
Dr. Abikhaled performed an umbilical hernia repair surgery on me. He was very helpful answering questions and did a great job. Was very happy with the Central Park outpatient surgery center he uses too.
I would highly recommend Dr. Abikhaled. I saw him for a hernia repair and from his initial consultation to the follow-ups months later, he was nothing short of patient, knowledgable, and very attentive. He even advised me to wait until the appropriate time (rather than do exploratory surgery) to have the hernia repaired. When it was time to have surgery, he explained the procedure and took the time to answer all of my questions and address my concerns. In fact, he even personally called me twice
Dr. Abikhaled greets you with a friendly, professional, interested demeanor. He is not rushed, harried or distracted. He explained everything thoroughly, went over possible concerns and likely outcomes. My consultation app had to be pushed back and I had a call hours before hand to reschedule...and I saw him within a couple of minutes of my arrival. My surgery was right on time and everything went smoothly and he came and spoke to me before and after (and went out to speak to my husband).
Dr. Abikhaled performed emergency surgery on my son to find the cause of uncontrolled gastrointestinal bleeding, found the problem and saved my son's life. He has an excellent bedside manner, listens well, answers all questions and pays attention to detail. You couldn't ask for a better doctor.
