Visit with Dr Shah was positive. He went over prescribed drugs from prior visits. Suggested modifications to prescriptions and described what might happen in future if my health continues to improve. Overall, a positive experience.
Dr. Shah is serious about the conditions of his patients. He takes time to break everything down so the patient can understand. He will answer any question to confirm understanding. He is concerning and thorough. Blessed to have found him.
Please don't waste your time - pursue care from another provider. Dr. Shah was repeatedly dismissive of medical concerns and unable to admit when he doesn't know how to explain symptoms. Instead, he will, VERY confidently, give you a wrong explanation. A second opinion confirmed how awful Dr. Shah's assessment was. Dr Shah did not take the time to respond to my concerns and even though I've had diarrhea since 02-01-2024 he told me he wanted to see me in a month. Make it make sense? Since then I’ve been to ER and my PCP, who referred me back to my Gastro I spoke to his office and explained how ridiculous it was for me to have to wait another month with the diarrhea. From the first visit with Dr. Shah he went over the procedure process which me feel at ease and comfortable to go forward with the procedure. At the follow-up visit he did an excellent job explaining the results and very attentively answered my questions.
The service and health care was exceptional! I so appreciate Dr Shah as he eased my mind about the colonoscopy procedure during the patient visit by explaining everything thoroughly. I knew what to expect from beginning to end. The not knowing made me procrastinate about having this all important cancer screening procedure...This procedure is the best way to protect yourself against colon cancer. I can assure you that not catching this cancer early can be disastrous. Dr Shah and his team are the best!!
Dr. Shah is a straight shooter, at first I didn’t know how to take it, but once I gave him an actual chance I saw how much he really cares. He knows his specialty and although I didn’t realize it at first, he goes that extra mile to ensure I was not only ok at that moment but in the long run as well. His approach is evidence based and he cares about your longevity. I recommend him 100% without any reservations whatsoever. It’s been about 5 years and he ensures I am comfortable and controlled with my chronic GI condition.

I was referred for a colonoscopy. I don’t have any complaints about the procedure as staff were efficient and knowledgeable. Here are the concerns: you will have to take time out for another visit in order to get your results. Everything negative? You won’t get a call, nor can you call. You (and your insurance) have to pay for a visit. This is just an effort to bring in more revenue.
