I’ve been a patient of Dr. Swearingen on and off for acne for about 6 years. She has always been so helpful and knowledgeable about what to try next if something wasn’t working for my acne. My face has never been as clear as it is today! She is so kind and always cares about what’s going on in my life. She’s thorough and is willing to answer any questions I may have. Highly recommend!

Had my first appointment with the doctor and was very pleased. I was treated with concern and respect. Each step of the exam was explained, and being a senior it was obvious she knew my limitations (movement etc) and gave me help where needed. Biopsy taken and options from results fully explained.
I never got as far as to actually see Dr. Swearingen. The curt, impersonal woman who answers her phone, however, is a great disservice to the practice. I found the doc on the Priority Health website after searching for derms in a 10 mile radius under PriorityHMO (NOT Priority HMO Medicare). The Dr. is the first one who comes up in the search. The receptionist said they don't take PriorityHMO, and I recommended they contact Priority to fix their website listing. She was extremely rude and nasty.
Dr.Swearingen takes her time, is thorough in her exam and is quick to respond to questionable medical issues. She is caring and personable. She answers questions and responds to concerns by sharing her knowledge. I have referred her and will continue to do so.
