Dr. Williams was in an out of the room in less than 10 minutes. All he did was interact with the computer the whole time, and made some small talk. He did not examine me, nor did he ask me any probing questions about my problems. He said he didn't have any idea what could be wrong. Rather than take the time to do a proper diagnosis, like a real doctor should, he just suggested doing an endoscopy, which was crazy. I guess that's a money-maker for him. Stay far away from this so-called doctor.
My experience at Dr. Williams office was stellar. I was a first-time patient of his and I quickly got a consultation visit within two days of contacting them and had a procedure scheduled within six days following the consultation. Dr. Williams is knowledgeable and sincere in his care for his patients and he has an excellent staff working with him. Great experience! Highly recommend!
Dr. Williams, Kayla Weaver-PA-C and the ENTIRE STAFF at Athens Gastroenterology are outstanding and provide exceptional patient care whether it's an office visit, a colonoscopy, EDG or you just have questions or concerns and need to talk to one of them personally. They return calls immediately and are very knowledgeable! They are the BEST in Athens and I would highly recommend this practice. They are organized, efficient and they CARE!
First time and it was a great experience! Staff was amazing!
Shockingly rude, dishonest, and inconsiderate. My records were wrong. He said I had a test done that I never had. I said so and he questioned my memory. I had to get the office manager to verify that the wrong records had been faxed over. Rather than admit the mistake, he started lying to cover himself. Very dismissive. Has never offered me any helpful advice or treatment. Stares at the computer during most of the visit and types. Does not care at all what happens to you. Go elsewhere if you can
I have been a patient of Dr. Williams for more than 12 years; Over the years, I have found him to be knowledgeable, sympathetic and very communicative. He has the ability to treat you correctly, and then explain to you for what and how he is treating you. I find him to be rather perfect in everything he does--his experience, open-mindedness and ability to communicate make him a friend to everyone needing a diagnosis and prescription for better help. I recommend him without reservation.
I have visited this office twice over the past 3 years and both times went very well. The staff is quick, charismatic, genuine. and comforting. They operate like clock work.
He has a wonderful bed side manner and is very good at his career.
I first met Dr. Williams as he treated my father with excellent results. Next I brought my daughter based on this experience. Lastly, I became is patient as well. Very informative, upbeat, and "real". I have recommended him to my husband and colleagues!
