As an Orthopedic Surgeon, my success is measured by how well I can improve or prevent decline of the function of my patients. Although I am a Surgeon, I believe that most orthopedic problems can be treated by nonsurgical measures such as orthotics, therapy, injections, medications, etc. My patients become surgical candidates when nonsurgical methods are failing and when the patient tells me that they are ready for surgery. I met with Dr. Patterson to evaluate increased pain in my foot which prevented me from continuing my daily walking routine. I have just completed my second course of treatment with Dr. Patterson. My surgery was a clean up from a previous surgeons mistakes. His skill as a surgeon is unsurpassed in my opinion. As a patient my needs were respected and I was treated as a part of the healthcare team for the best outcome. My daughter saw Dr. Patterson for an ankle injury. He is friendly, thorough, took his time to fully assess my daughter and listened to her concerns regarding recovery. He reviewed x rays with us and answered all of our questions. As an athlete, my daughter is worried about time away from her sport so he developed a plan for optimal and speedy recovery adding physical therapy for improved strength. So grateful for his knowledge, experience and kind bedside manner. Would HIGHLY recommend.
Dr. Patterson is very cordial, thoroughly explained options and outcomes. Also reviewed options if this shot don't last very long and pain comes back.
