As an Orthopedic Surgeon, my success is measured by how well I can improve or prevent decline of the function of my patients. Although I am a Surgeon, I believe that most orthopedic problems can be treated by nonsurgical measures such as orthotics, therapy, injections, medications, etc. My patients become surgical candidates when nonsurgical methods are failing and when the patient tells me that they are ready for surgery. Dr. Patterson was very arrogant. He was supposed to correct the issues with my ankle. When I went back for post-op, my ankle was the same as before surgery. He stated it was his fault. Never ordered an MRI, though that was the purpose of removing 2 metal plates and 17 screws. He wanted to schedule surgery again. Tried telling Doug (his PA) that I still couldn't move my ankle. He ignored me and told me to stretch it. Worst experience I've ever had.
I liked Dr Patterson. He listened to me, made detailed explanations of his findings and treated me very well.
Very Professional Doctor, very caring
This surgeon is professional and takes his time listening to you as a patient. He gave me all possible options and reconstructed my second failed ankle replacement when others wouldn't. I have 100% trust in his abilities. I highly recommend him.
