One of the worst Dr's ever. If you want to live for your family, get a new DR. This one does NOT care about your health he simply cares about getting paid. These greedy Dr's like Dr.XU take home a huge percentage of money from giving you Chemotherapy. They will almost always recommend it because they get PAID. If you have cancer like I do! Get 2nd and 3rd opinions! If you do not wish to do Chemotherapy, you SIMPLY DO NOT HAVE TO. James Xu is THE worse dr that I ever encounter with. His medical certification should be taken away from him, he doesn’t care about you but just how to charge your insurance and get money. Horrible person and doctor, I do not recommend him AT ALL
Dr. Xu saved my life .. literally .. I could barely breath when I first walked into his office .. but I was in denial .. he was so gentle and kind. Explained my treatment plan in detail and guided me thru the scary and intimidating chemotherapy treatments. I have Stage 4 cancer but my quality of life is amazing … I can walk my dog and take care of my kid … I am forever grateful to Dr. Xu for not only extending my life but giving me a fulfilling quality of life ..
Before he ever even knew me, before I was ever his patient, Dr. Xu visited me every single day while I was admitted at Holy across Hospital in Silver Spring, MD. Generally a kind person who, so far, has shown a willingness to collaborate with his patients as opposed to making one-sided decisions regarding a patient’s diagnosis, prescriptions, and care/treatment plan overall.
