Five years ago I was seen in this clinic and treated professionally and effectively by Dr. John Ruddy. He gave the best physical examination I have ever had (and I am a physician myself). A year or so later, I was seen by his successor and was quite adequately taken care. Dr. Emsellem is great, but as others have noted, her administrative staff is the worst. An established patient, I had a routine visit in March. When I paid for my visit, they did not provide a statement for my insurance, because the person who prepares them had "left for the day". Despite assurances that she would send the statement the following day, she never did so until I called to remind her, a month later. Such a very bad experience. We had scheduled an appointment and had to wait for 2 months. The doctor canceled on us twice, kicked up to the back of the line, and only offered us appointments from cancellations. Complete lack of regard for my son.

very bad experience. They seem totally disorganized. After months, I was finally able to get a sleep study -- was never able to see a Dr. or any type of medical person to actually discuss the results with me though. Finally gave up on Emsellem - now trying to get the results so I can get a different Dr. to look at them but they require me to use their portal - which doesn't recognize me as a patient. When I raise the issue with staff, they just keep sending me an inoperable link to the porta

She really knows sleep disorders. The office is not run as most are, but it is run very efficiently, and assures that she can treat a lot more people. If you want someone to hold your hand, don't go here. If you want someone to help you with your sleep disorder, this is the place.

I was given incorrect instructions for how to use the sleep head apparatus, resulting in having to take the test twice. (Nor does the instructional book provide the necessary tips and/or instructions, pictures, etc., on how to use the apparatus). On writing to the doctor for an explanation, I received no answer. Apparently there are many complaints about this office. The overall lack of caring is very obvious, and I believe this sleep clinic should be avoided, if possible.

I hear she is the best but the front desk staff is appalling. I submitted the online paperwork, which they request. Didn't hear from them so reached out a week later. I was told that they had my paperwork and I would hear something. Weeks went by and nothing. Sent an email. No response. Called almost two weeks later. They requested information on the referring doctor. They got what they needed from him and sent me another request for the online paperwork. I called and reminded them I did it mont

Completely unprofessional and unresponsive office . Impossible to get answers to questions. Cannot reach the doctor and are left with rude college kids working in the front office who have no idea what they are doing and are apparently not accountable to anyone.

Very good doctor. Her doctor's assistant is also very helpful and patient. I highly recommend them for sleep related problems. They make you feel like a person not a number.
