Dr Heinsohn is the hub of a network of doctors who approach patient care the way he does .. patient first. He knows his patients. He cares for his patients. Ever the learner, he has encyclopedic knowledge of the human body .. and stays on top of medical research. If his practice wasn't included "in network" by BCBST, I would have found another insurer. He is Best of the Best in my book.
Dr Heinsohn has been my family doctor for many years as well as my family’s doctor. He’s a great physician. Only issue is if you need an authorization or prescription sent in. You have to request many times. This has been happening A LOT lately. I’ve had to call every week for a month to get a form sent to my insurance. I have also had to call to get prescriptions sent in for my parents. Several times. When it was supposed to be done the day of their visit. My parents have health issues & need their medications. Dr Heinsohn has been my family doctor for many years. He is the best doctor I have ever been to. Very professional & knowledgeable. His nurses are extremely nice too. Sometimes the front desk can be a little rude. Especially if you are very sick & need care right away. They don’t seem to care. And the wait time can be absolutely insane... But I hang in there to see Dr Heinsohn. I absolutely love Dr Heinsohn…. The wait times are getting better. Plus staff has been friendlier. I’m extremely happy with Dr Heinsohn though.
