As luck would have it, Dr. Shapiro was able to look after a broken ankle immediately. We had a great experience and trust in his expertise.
Dr. Shapiro spent as much time as I needed to answer all of my questions and to make sure I had all the information I needed. He and his staff were great and I’m fortunate to have found him.
Dr Shapiro performed a total knee replacement on me in December of 2017. I'm still healing but I feel that I couldn't have had a better doctor. Kind, caring and extremely qualified. It's a 3 hour drive one way to see him, but I wouldn't trust anyone else. His office personnel are always comforting and helpful. I'm so glad I found them!!
Dr. Shapiro has treated 3 of our 4 family members. Both my parents (85 & 83) who reside here full time are patients of Dr. Shapiro and as a result of his expertise has helped resolve issues for them both without surgery which has improved their quality of life here in the Wood River Valley.
Took his time and listened !!! Then took me out of pain !!!!
Friendly office staff, easy office environment, no waiting. Doctor listened carefully to my concerns and worked closley with my rehab. A very good experience
Dr.Shapiro truly helped me when I fell from my horse and broke my collar bone.He was able to take an X-ray in his office so I didn't have to go to another facility.He helped me to understand the duration of the healing process and I left his office with a fabulous sling and a state of the art ice pack, which I am using as I type this.He also helped me with responsible pain management and thoroughly checked my health history and possible conflicts of medication.Thank you to his wife as well!
