I cannot praise Dr. Shapiro enough! I have had two surgeries and with both I healed with no issues at all. You can hardly see where incisions are. His care is excellent, taking the time to answer all questions and inform me of things I may need to know. I would definitely refer Dr. Shapiro to anyone seeking orthopedic care.
Dr Shapiro is a pro with experience and bed side manor. In 2014 I had both my wrists operated on for carpal tunnel. Five years Iater there still is no pain. Today I went to see him about kneck and shoulder pain. I had seen a kneck specialist in Boise who told me I would have to suffer with pain the rest of my life. Dr. Shapiro gave me his evaluation and a few other referals for more options.
Dr. Shapiro is an excellent doctor. He cares about his patients and listens to what you have to say. He did an excellent job on my shoulder surgery. I'm looking forward to a full recovery.
Dr. Shapiro diagnosed a serious injury that no doctor had yet identified with respect to my granddaughter. She needed surgery, but no doctor she had seen diagnosed her Lisfranc syndrome. She had subsequent surgery and an excellent recovery. But for the diagnosis she would have suffered continuing deterioration and the possible necrosis of tendon tissue in her foot.
Glen has a big heart and a wonderful knowledge base for treating his patients, a rare and necessary combination for healing.
Dr. Shapiro has always provided the absolute best service in care of any orthopedic surgeons I've dealt with in the Magic Valley. He always seems to have a good grasp on current treatment options newer technology and places patient care Above All Else. I have referred many patients to dr. Glenn Shapiro and I believe all of them share the same sentiments I do fantastic physician I would recommend Dr. Shapiro to anyone.
Glen is very positive and easy to relate to. He explains in layman’s terms and is reassuring and kind.
My experience with Dr. Shapiro was fantastic. Through a minimally invasive procedure, he relieved my knee pain and allowed me to get back to the things I enjoy most. Thanks for everything Doc!
Glenn Shapiro cares for many friends and most importantly, me and my family. He has performed surgery on both my daughter and myself with excellent outcome. Most importantly for me, he is present and in the moment when I am seeking care. He is also an educator, which gives one great comfort when medical issues arise. His staff and beyond accessible, both by phone and e mail and everyone in the office practices together in a genuinely satisfying manner. Easy access to to Glenn is a bonus!
