Dr. Aguiar is the best Ortho Doctor I have ever seen. He’s very professional, caring, kind, knowledgeable, honest, and very intelligent. He’s easy to talk to! He was my mom’s doctor for years and she loved him. Now he’s my doctor and almost two years ago I had total knee replacement surgery on my right leg in which Dr. Aguiar performed the robotic surgery. Absolutely! I agree with all the 5 Star reviews concerning Dr. Aguilar. He replaced both of my knees in 2020 with robotic surgery, 1st one in July and 2nd in November at the Reston Hospital (also a stellar experience). My recovery was great with minimal pain and wonderful PT therapy follow up at the Ortho Va. Franklin Farm PT location. I have referred him, with confidence, to everyone I know who needs knee replacement. I am always very, very likely to recommend Dr Aguiar. I've done so many times. I recommended him to my primary care physician, my best friend, a coworker, another coworker. I don't think there's anyone else in the business that has the compassion, the professionalism and excellence of a demanding public like Northern Virginia I know I'm one of them. I was looking for a way to communicate my gratitude to Dr George Aguiar. Thank you Dr Aguiar. My shoulder is perfect I have full range of motion with no pain whatsoever. I had surgery on may 28 2019. My shoulder had multiple tears plus a huge lipoma. Everything has been fine about a year. I was in Brazil for a year and I half after physiotherapy. Dr. Aguiar did my robotic assisted total knee replacement in September 2019. I have had no problems in the 23 months since. It was a laprascopic surgery but because Dr. Aguiar this procedure he was able to pre-plan the surgery. I felt much better going into it knowing he had time to view and plan the procedure before the surgery date.
Dr. Agular has been my families ortho. Dr. for over 20 years. He replaced my knee, both of my wife's knees and helped my children with their injuries. His service was excellent and I hope he continues to practice for many years.
Dr Aguiar and his team responded to my messages in an expeditious manner, assessed my situation and administered remedy super quickly.
I first consulted with Dr. Aguiar in April of 2016 for knee pain. He recommended trying exercises, physical therapy and a shot. My knee was bone on bone and he recommended possibly doing a partial Knee replacement. Exercises and PT has helped me tremendously. He said "Surgery is not the first option." I liked that. He was very patient, professional and caring.
I came in the office in extreme pain when I left it was so much better this doctor is a miracle worker I am so pleased with his care thank you Dr Aguiar
