I absolutely trust Aguiar 100 percent. My mom was his patient for years before she passed away at age 94 and I’ve also been his patient for years! He is kind, thorough, professional, and very understanding. I highly recommend him.
Dr. Aguiar is an excellent orthopaedic surgeon. We have been going to him for about 20 yrs. from my daughter, my father and me. He ALWAYS manages to fit us in. He is very forthright, which I always appreciate. And, he’s a good human being.

Was lucky to see Dr. Aguiar as a walk-in without an appointment. He saw me quickly, ordered x-ray, diagnosed the problem, and treated me--a day later am feeling much better. Aguiar has been my go to doctor for joint pain issues. He cares about his patients!!!

Dr Aguilar is terrific. He listens to what I am experiencing with my medical issues. He helps me figure out the best option for me and answers my questions. He knows what he is doing and is experienced. I have confidence in his ability to help me.
I tore my rotator cuff in February 2019. I visited Dr. Aguiar in March and had surgery on March 31. I had 19 Physical Therapy sessions and after only 12 weeks, my shoulder/arm have returned to 90-95% of normal. I have returned to most of my regular activities. I plan to take it relatively easy (no golf!) for the next few months to fully recover. I highly recommend Dr. Aguiar and OrthoVirginia.
