Honestly, I hate writing reviews! But Dr. Aguiar is the best of the best. Have probably the best advice that any ortho has ever given me and was very honest in his review - not many doc’s like that around nowadays! Hard to find good doctors around here let alone great ones and he is at the top for a reason. I would like to thank him and his wonderful Reston staff. Definitely my Ortho for life.
Dr. Aguiar successfully replaced my mother's two knees back in 2008. Now, it's my turn. I wouldn't want anyone else doing the surgery besides Dr. Aguiar. The wonderful manner and attention to detail that Dr. Aguiar shows you as a patient is absolutely outstanding. His kindness and his true love for his patient comes out in both the preoperative stage as well as the post-operative stage of treatment.
My family has utilized Ortho Virginia on several occasions and always have we received excellent care. On this particular occasion, I had the need to see a knee specialist and selected Dr. Aguilar. The appointment process was easy and an appointment was available within a few days. It is a big practice but it doesn’t feel rushed. Dr. Aguilar knows his stuff and is very personable. I feel very confident in him and without hesitation recommend Dr. Aguilar.
Dr Aguilar was kind, patient, knowledgeable, and easy to talk to. He understood my issue and provided a good conservative approach to my problem.
My name is John Taylor... Dr. Aguiar replaced both my knees on November 4, 2014... many people over the years have asked me about my knees. I have had absolutely no issues with either knee! My legs are straight and strong now. Before the procedure, I was in constant pain.... after the operation, I was driving in 14 days and back to work, with no problems!! I wanted to send this updated review to encourage anyone with knee issues to meet Dr. Aguiar. He is a credit to his profession.

Much too fast. Charged me for Xray I did not have. Said I had cartilage disorder. Did not offer Handicapped parking sticker even though I could not walk. Asked attendant if she could ask him for activity level I should do. She said never did and said "it is ususally as tolerated". Tried to ask other attendant and he did not acknowledge me.
Best doctor ever in this area ! I ruptured my right patellar tendons last march and I'm a national bodybuilder as well ! George is nothing but high class , humble, very knowledgeable doc. He has answered all my questions and was able to fix my tendons! I recommend this doc to anyone. You won't regret it!!!
Dr. Aguiar is awesome. My husband had an unusual accident that caused him to tear both quadriceps tendons. Dr. Aguiar did a great job with the surgery on both legs. He is very caring , always answered our questions and helped us get through a very difficult time.
