Greedy - he has so many patients that he never has openings for sick visits. And he keeps accepting more patients. Just a "wellness doctor". Irresponsible and negligent - he would not see my newborn daughter before she was one week old even though I expressed my concerns about her weight loss. The receptionist informed me that “Dr. Hernandez’s policy is to see the baby only after one week old” and that she would have the nurse call me to talk about my concerns. I never received that call.

I called to transfer both of my son's care to Dr. Hernandez. The receptionist was extremely rude. According to the office manager, they do not see patients with cystic fibrosis at all. Even though my son does not have CF but is a carrier of the gene and needs further testing the receptionist would not accept us to be patients. I'm disappointed in the way we were treated on the phone, but I'm glad I found this information out before hand. I called several peds after this and they all accept CF pt

He is a wonderful doctor, very personable and experienced. He is great with our daughter and teaches little lessons to our daughter when we are there, e.g. strangers, trying new foods, etc. We feel very lucky to have him!
