I have nothing but positive things to say about every aspect of Medstar Washington hospital center. My husband had to have an aortic valve replacement Dr Thourani and his staff were amazing. From the time we arrived for cardiac cath to the staff in pre op to the compassionate caring ICU nurses who took so much time explaining everything to our daughter who was scared to see her dad with a breathing tube. My Mom had her 3rd open heart surgery done at this hospital. Her nurse, Iesha today on 2nd floor NW ICU unit is awesome and amazing. She needs to be rewarded in some way. She went above and beyond to care for my Mom. Thank you
