Very friendly and great at putting me at ease. Also very open and wiling to discuss any topic including those outside of the scope of work. extremely knowledgeable.
I have had bone grafting, deep cleaning and regular cleaning and I am very please with the outcome of each. I have exstensive bone loss but Dr. Mathys has preserved my smile and increased the overall health of my teeth and mouth. I find Dr. Mathys very easy to talk to and he has a wonderful sense of humor. My hope is to continue my care with Dr. Mathys for as long as he is in practice.
I received a bone graft and an implant. I was really nervous about the process. Dr. Mathys made is very easy and stress free. He has great bedside manners that made me feel incredibly safe and reduced my stress levels. My implant feels great, I had no issues with it and it now has the permanent crown on it. Dr. Mathys is the most amazing doctor anyone can hope for. Not only is he highly proficient in what he does, he has such a super positive, caring and cheerful personality that will melt always all fears and anxieties in anyone! I used to have an immense fear for all dentists and avoided them at all costs until I could no longer do so. Because of years and years of neglect I had a complicated implant case to begin with. Two teeth pulled and one dental implant. I have been going to Dr. Mathys for many years. The office and office staff is excellent. Jennifer has been cleaning my teeth for a long time and think she is the best. The only problem I have is the cost of the implant. I hope this will be my last one. I would definitely recommend Dr. Mathys....
Although I didn't have any procedures done by Dr. Mathys...he took the time to visit with me towards the end of my cleaning. He looked at my x-rays and discussed issues with the hygienist, Greta, and me. He was very personable, caring and friendly. I would highly recommend Dr. Mathys.
Last time I saw Dr. Mathys was for my new implant last year. It went really well and I appreciate the care that is given.
I was incompetantly referred to Dr. Mathys's office by my dentist, and was extremely put off by the doctor's "bedside manner". He made inappropriate comments about other people still having to look at me during the duration of the treatments, which took several months. He talked A LOT and did not pay attention when he would sedate me, spraying anaesthesia across my face and shooting anaesthesia across the room when he pulled the needle out!
