Being a 78 year old man, it is nice to see again with the help of Dr. Erik Chotiner and his staff. I can relax and enjoy doing things again. I would recommend anyone having a problem to have the procedure done (cataract surgery). You only have one set of eyes.

Everyone was very courteous. Staff was knowledgeable and helpful. Waiting rooms and exam rooms were too cold.

When I learned from the eye exam that I had cataracts, I asked for a recommendation for surgery and was referred to Memorial Eye Institute. I was impressed with the thorough initial consultation and examination. All technicians were both friendly and professional, and I found Dr. Chotiner warm and engaging. I was equally impressed with the surgical care team members and process. All my questions were answered and I am delighted with the results .

I was very impressed by the whole procedure from check-in to check-out. The check-in staff reviewed everything in an easy to understand manner. The staff in the pre-op area were very organized and thorough with their part. The operating area staff also were very organized and made the whole procedure very smooth and put me at ease. Dr. Chotiner is extremely knowledgeable and structured with the procedure. The time spent in the surgery center was very acceptable and the procedure was completed without any problems.

Your facility works very fluidly and professional. From signing in at the front desk to testing, all went well. Day of surgery was also very effective and satisfying.

The staff were incredible. Dr. Chotiner made me feel more relaxed about getting the surgery. I cannot think of a better, more caring place for eye care.

I have nothing but praise for Dr. Erik Chotiner and his team. I have never had to wait long to see the doctor or a technician. The surgery went smoothly. I cannot believe how fast it went and my vision is greatly improved. The worst part is trying to get the eye drops in my eyes.

Pre-op was great and nurses were good at relaxing me. Do not remember much about the procedure. Day of surgery was a little uncomfortable when I got home, but it got better as the night went on. Not sure yet how much improvement.
