Everyone was very professional and very courteous. They made me feel relaxed and at ease during my cataract surgery, and I also liked the music they were playing in the operating room.
While I was given a wealth of information, there were two pieces missing. I was not told I would not be able to read once I had cataract surgery in both eyes without readers. This affects my job and if I cannot do my job, I do not get paid. I would have rescheduled the surgery to a later date had I known. Second, I received no instructions on how to tape the eye shield on at night. I had to go to the internet to get that information. A simple one-sheet instruction would have helped.
Everyone was very kind and helpful. I was given very good care and was made to feel relaxed. I have not had any problems with surgery and my eyes have been healing well. The only problem was my glasses were lost and hoping they will be found.
The end result of my cataract surgery has been amazing in spite of some complications, they were all addressed by doctor and staff with urgency, sincerity and care. A great surgeon proves himself during the most challenging times! That describes Dr. Erik Chotiner. Thank you Dr. Rick.
The nurses and staff were very friendly. They were understanding about my nervousness and were reassuring that the cataract removal procedure would be painless. It was. I am no longer worried about having the other eye done.
