I am so frustrated with the Doctors that I have encountered here in Mississippi. I hope to be able to go to Tampa soon. I only wish that there were just ONE doctor here that I could trust. It appears that none of them have bothered to learn what the doctors there in Tampa are doing.
I'm not a patient yet but have been trying to be for over 10 long years....have had high calcium of over 10.7 multiple times and kidney stones since 16, even had a uretal stent at 34. But, PTH levels never really that high....Well Merry early Christmas to me, i guess....:) Blood work Back today....PTH 64??? Dr. Says...I think we better give that Parathyroid Center a call again....Do you still have their emails from 2 years ago...??? Going to the Norman Parathyroid Center was an incredible experience! It was all so easy! Dr. Norman and Dr. Politz were so friendly and made me feel like I was the most important patient. I have had six years of feeling "half dead". I could tell the difference in my energy level immediately after the tumor was removed. Surgery at 7am and the beach at 11am! I would do it again in a heartbeat except that I am cured. My surgery was October 22, 2014 and I can't wait for more amazing things to come my way.
Friendly and welcoming, and very informative, just wished (selfishly) that Dr Norman operated overseas too!
