I had my surgery this past Tuesday (7/22), got home today, Saturday GUESS WHAT YUP finally after many years of bone pain and exhaustion, going to do something that makes ME happy, deep sea fishing tomorrow at 5 a.m. It sounds silly that a simple thing like doing something so small can make one so happy again. I really like this site. Dr. Norman and Dr. Politz did my surgery on May 6. 2014 and removed my parathyroid tumor. They had me take 5 calcium tabs a day the first week, 4 tabs a day the next week, Now I am supposed to take 2 tabs a day. I have had a big problem taking the calcium. I have had a burning for 10 years that I know my calcium levels were high and I understood Dr. Norman to say that my high calcium is the reason for my burning and hurting. Help! I live in Australia, I had a PTT removed are 7 years of hell. Our doctors say one in 6 million have this!! Our doctors REFUSE to look test for this problem. So I have a FB page called "" Parathyroid Disease "", that is it.
