I had half of my thyroid removed 2 years ago in may. Have been on levothyroxine for the last year. Had blood work done last week and got the results back today. they said my Vitamin D levels were 9.7 and the normal range is 40-50. I was diagnosed with hypothyroidism when they removed half my thyroid almost 2 years ago. My endroconologist called and told me it had nothing to do with my thyroid since my levels were normal and that I needed to see my regular DR. I have an Appt on Thursday in the morning. hope I can find answers
I was so fortunate my internist had attended a presentation given by Dr. Norman and referred me to him as soon as my hyperparathyroidism was diagnosed! What an awesome team in Tampa!
