For my case, Dr. Knapke did everything perfect for my left knee replacement (55 years old at the time of surgery). I no longer have knee pain. I was up and walking around within 24 hours after the surgery. And now, 7 years after the surgery, the scar is very small with no issues and I still have no pain. I will recommend, the initial physical therapy following the surgery is key to a good recovery (really). In hind sight, I wish I would have had this surgery many years earlier. I have waited two years to review Dr. Knapke. Strong knee pain still persists two years after my partial medial compartment replacements. The pain significantly limits my ability to function. #1. Dr. Knapke recommended partial knee replacements. I do not know if total replacements would have eliminated the ongoing pain. #2 Dr. Knapke said I was a good candidate for two replacements at once.
