I would never ever e a patient at this hospital Staff was rude and only wanted to get me out of there after major surgery Think twice before going to this hospital
“Long waits, poor leadership, and no accountability—patient care must come first at St. Luke’s Quakertown. Urgent care should mean urgent care.”
The receptionist/technician was rude at my checkin. It was my first visit, therefore, I asked some questions about the appointment. Her tone and words were not kind. She seemed annoyed by my questions. Dr. Ephraim performed an exam. I had to ask questions because she did not talk through what she was doing. Worst part was she did not tell me a certain part of the exam would be painful or had risks. I ended up with a severe UTI a few days later. I have not returned to her.
Horrible service. I dealt with their Allentown office. I then moved to Bethlehem. Called to make an appointment because I have severe back pain. I was told the location transfer would require approval. It’s been over 30 hours. No call back. Ridiculous. It’s the same practice. Will never deal with them again .

I then told him I have severe hospital anxiety, and PTSD (yes, diagnosed) He laughed at me for having a panic attack from being in the CT scan. My heart rate was 140. He then called security on me because I was having a panic attack, being in s... read more

Dr. Marlin is an outstanding Neuro Surgeon at St.Lukes Bethlehem and along with a amazing ICU team and nurses the only reason I survived a massive stroke. I owe my life to each and everyone of them. Very thankful 🙏
The one thing I didn't write in is that they got him under control medically, but caused him physical and emotional pain.
My son is a32 year old with I.D.D. who was in a medication induced psychosis. He was given a large dose of a medication that changed his demeanor totally. We had to get him help to get him under control psychologically and get medicated properly as he also has Tourette Syndrome. We were not allowed to see him for two weeks. He was scared as he did not know anyone there. He has somewhat of a slight speech impairment also from being prescribed the large dose of a med., therefore talking to him over the phone was difficult and f... read more
