I felt safer that the office was pre screening (temperature) individuals before allowing them into the office and making sure everyone was wearing mask during this covid pandemic. Through my five month journey, surgery to recovery, I feel very fortunate to have had Dr Hurley and his staff to perform my surgery. He came highly recommended to me, and I will undoubtedly recommend him and his staff going forward.
Dr. Hurley is an excellent surgeon (compassionate, professional, kind, gentle, and very caring.) When I recently broke my wrist 2 days before a planned trip to Hawaii, he took x-rays, set me up with a brace and let me go to Hawaii with the understanding that I would need another x-ray upon my return. A follow up showed that the fractured bone was no longer in line. Dr. Hurley gave me my options as to surgery or not. I chose surgery, and Dr. Hurley did an AWESOME job. The scar is barely visible, and I have full use of my righ... read more
I was referred to see Dr. Hurley at Advanced Ortho by two unaffiliated medical professionals. My visits turned out to be some of the best medical office encounters I have ever experienced. My injury was somewhat urgent, so time was of the essence. His people got me in quickly and determined I did need surgery and fairly quickly. Not only did Dr Hurley and his scheduling team get me in that week, they scheduled me at a facility that worked for both of us. I couldn't believe how accommodating they were. I had a very positive e... read more
excellent. My right hand had bad arthritis/pain in middle knuckle joint and was looking at a new knuckle and Dr. Hurley talked me out of it and suggested I try some joint injections over the next 12 months and it's almost 3 years and my right hand feels super. Replacing a hand joint knuckle is painful and has a long rehab program and I'm glad I took Dr. Hurley's advise.
When and IF you ever have a need for hand surgery I can say without conditions Dr Hurley and his Team are in a class by themselves and I would not hesitate to recommend them to Friends and Family. Not only the actual procedure but the overall friendly and super professional manner in which you are treated is in a class by itself.
One of the few that helps dupuytrens contracture with a simple injection
He is the best. Saved my hand when it was very inflamed; operated at night even if inconvenient.
Dr. Hurley has seen my daughter on a few occasions for write injuries due to soccer. He has been great and very reassuring to my daughter. I would highly recommend him.
Dr. Hurley replaced my right index finger knuckle joint and success. The pain that I had before surgery is gone. He is very gentle and listens to what you are saying. He has also replace my thumb joints and they work great.
