I met Dr. Borenstein at the end of March 2013. I immediately felt confident that I finally found a doctor who was interested in my problems. He took his time explaining what he felt was wrong with me, he was aggressive about starting me on new medications and suggested changing my protocol to introduce supplements and vitamins, if I was interested, that I was not currently taking. After a long struggle to get to the root of my health problems, I found Dr Borenstein and he GOT RESULTS when no one else could! Dr B is thorough, compassionate & caring; taking a real personal interest in my concerns. And he has a good sense of humor. I am on my way to being the healthiest me I can be with Dr Borenstein's diagnosis & treatment!
I sprained my ankle in October and it never healed correctly. The chronic pain prevented me from participating in my favorite activities. I contacted Dr Borenstein and he squeezed me in the following day. After examining my ankle I was diagnosed with a sprain of the ATFL. He recommended a treatment called Prolotherapy. It consisted of an injection which took less than 5 minutes was a bit painful but the purpose was to encourage inflammation which would lead to healing of the damaged ligaments. Dr. Borenstein so far - GOOD. His phone staff is in need of a class on professional decorum. Just thinking about calling there makes you want to squirm.
Dr. Borenstein is fantastic. He knew exactly what i needed in order to get my life back.I was misdiagnosed for years & felt I was on the verge of dying. He provided me with the treatment needed to feel normal again. He's fantastic! SERIOUSLY!
Dr. Borenstein has changed my life. I had a Thyroidectomy (partial) and felt exhausted for the past 2 years. I told my previous endocrinologist that I was tired during every visit and all he responded was: "I am so sorry". I'm so glad that I found Dr. Borenstein! He is open-minded and is always willing to hear my questions or concerns. Not only is he highly intuitive, but he remains up-to-date with the latest treatments. While his office is quite busy, he always seems to have time for me and appointments are never a problem.
When I first visited Dr. Borenstein, I was not feeling well, and had been seen by several doctors, with similar outcomes. So when I finally saw Dr. Borenstein, I was not feeling optimistic. I have been to see Dr. Borenstein four times now and am absolutely convinced at this point that all of the stellar reviews of him were written by his friends/family. As some others have mentioned, he doesn't bother to read your results beforehand and is extremely dismissive and condescending. At no time did I think for one second that he cared at all about making me well.
