This doctor is a shame! And the office is all about money. When i went to the office the first time, the nurse asked me to do an ultrasound to better evaluate the case, even if i had no symptoms. And in fact, I just went there to show a vein that appeared in my leg. Then I came to get the results and Dr. Feldbaum not even read my file and start to saying that I would need to do a procedure because, as he mentioned before, the valves are not working good and my symptoms will get worse. I filed a quality of care complaint with my health insurer regarding this doctor. Cannot recommend him-- stay away!
Dr. Feldbaum, when I was able to talk to him was friendly, informative, and seemed well informed and was familiar with some of my previous Surgeons at the University Hospital of Houston. I trust him. However, to get to a doctor you have to deal with his staff, to include those who give tests ranging from as ultrasound tests to a simple measurement with a sphygmomanometer. Here his office failed miserably. They were cold, condescending and rude. Incompetent even with insurance questions.
Dr. Feldbaum is a miracle worker! Last summer he closed up 5 of my veins with an easy laser procedure (that closed up two large ulcers on my legs). Unfortunately, More was going on and the wounds reopened. After getting a vasculitis diagnosis, and learning of a new leaking vein, I was scheduled for another easy leaser procedure that I just had done. Dr Feldbaum is fast, professional and knowledgable. I am confident this will lead to fast healing of my new ulcers. i highly recommend him!
I would highly recommend Dr. Feldbaum. My 69 year old mom had extensive damage to her arteries from her aorta down in her feet. She was unable to walk and in severe pain. The Dr took care of her and replaced all of her arteries with artificial ones. He's an exceptional doctor. He is a little quick at explaining things but is always very forward and to the point when answering questions. Wait time for appts longer then I liked. Office staff on Sheridan Street are amazing. Thank you all!
