I would recommend Dr. David Rivadeneira and his team to anyone needing surgery. I had a hernia repair with bowel resection in 2001 with another surgeon, after having several surgeries for endometriosis. In 2010, I needed a hysterectomy for cancer, and the oncologist cut through the mesh from the hernia repair. I had an open wound for eleven weeks, and when it healed I had a large incisional hernia. When I needed a colon resection to remove a mass in my colon my detailed research led me to Dr. David Rivadeneira. He makes himself conveniently available and took the time to clearly explain the entire procedure. He performed minimally invasive laparoscopic surgery and saved my life. Dr Rivadeneira is an amazing, talented surgeon and a wonderful person as well. He repaired a large rectocele and a rectal prolapse. This condition is embarrassing and and causes extreme difficulty with defecation. Due to the trauma from 3 childbirths , I suffered from pelvic organ prolapse. Staff was very polite, comforting, and helpful. Dr. Rivadeneira explained the procedure thoroughly and symptoms that I may experience. There were no surprises, all went very well with no discomfort. I had suffered for years and within a few days felt relief. His patience and compassionate manner fosters trust and confidence.
