I had been diagnosed with Severe Diverticulitis 2021 and I was on my way to having a blowout or getting colon cancer. My life sucked I could barely eat anything I rarely went out to dinner. If I did I risked inflaming the diverticulitis and it lasting for months sometimes , I was miserable. I went to Dr. David Rivadeneira I liked him Immediately, he was very easy to talk to , he addressed all my concerns and he was very explanatory. I saw two other doctors but remained impressed with Dr Rivadeneira. He preformed my Colo Rese... read more

When my husband was diagnosed with colon cancer we were both traumatized. We were referred to Dr Rivandeira & from the moment we walked into his office, we knew we had found the right doctor for the job. He was willing to answer any & all questions & gave gave us s full description of the of the operation. We were reassured by his down to earth demeanor backed up by awesome skills. It felt like talking to a friend who happened to be a doctor. He compassionately walked us through what could have been a terrifying experience. ... read more

I went to see Dr Rivadeneira after a large lipoma was detected from a routine colonoscopy. During my first visit, Dr Rivadeneira tried to figure out a way for me to not have to go through surgery. He sent me to a more invasive gastroenterologist who confirmed it must be removed via a colon resection. I never hesitated at his expertise. My surgery went well and my recovery was easy. My scar is healing beautifully. This doctor has a great way to make you very comfortable and relaxed before surgery. Dr Rivadeneira is truly one ... read more

After a frightening diagnosis of Colon Cancer, I was blessed by being referred to Dr. David Rivadeneira and his awesome team. What can I say? I am a 79 year old woman, not knowing what to expect, and the minute I met Dr. D, I knew all would be well. Everything was explained in detail, and a doctor who was patient and kind, as were all his wonderful team and front office staff. From my family and I, I thank you from the bottom of my heart.

I was diagnosed with stage 3 colon cancer by tumor discovery in Jan 2021. After some personal research and family council Dr. Rivadeneira's office/practice easily became our first choice. The very opening minute I met the team I new I was exactly where I needed to be. Every question was answered, every concern talked through, any detail handled with no stone unturned. It was more than a doctors visit, it was striking up a trusting relationship and I will always be truly grateful for it.

I had bleeding painful hemorrhoids for a long as I can remember. It got to a point where it was affecting my quality of life. I put it off after seeing what my mom went though with her hemorrhoid surgery 25 years ago. Dr. Rivadeneira took a look and and asked why did I wait so long? He explained the procedure of banding and 4 visits later I was done. The banding procedure wasn't really painful, it felt more like pressure, like I had to go to the bathroom. I wish I had gone to him years earlier. I would highly recommend him.

He has the rare gift of having graft bed side manors as well as being a greasy surgeon.

In 2016 I went to see the doctor for a consultation for a rectocyle and would be having Pelvic repair which he would perform with Dr. Finamore the Urogynocogist.. He explained in detail his part of the procedure, but my pre-op chest X-ray showed a nodule in one of my lungs. He called me and gave me the name of two surgeons. I made appointments with both and chose the one at Sloane. I had a successful left lobe lobectomy with a non cancerous mass. I was very grateful for the Doctor that he recommended at Sloane. One year late... read more
