I had seen another orthopedic surgeon because i was having pain in my leg. The doctor wanted to operate on my knee. I went for a second opinion with Dr Buchalter and I am so glad I did. I had my first hip replacement done in HSS 5 years ago. I was told I needed my other knee replaced. I was referred to Dr Buchalter by my neighbor, after a thorough exam Dr Buchalter told me the problem was actually my other hip. He gave me a shot in my hip and my pain disappeared. 3 months later when my pain returned Dr B replaced my hip. 24 hrs later I was homeAnd was waking with a cane and NO PAIN! Dr B is the best
I highly recommend Dr Buchalter for joint replacement surgery . He is highly qualified as well as a genuinely nice person . I had a total hip replacement and was walking with crutches and home the same day . From the minute I stood up I had zero pain . In less than a week I no longer needed the crutches . This guy might be a great surgeon doctor, but the experience I had there accompanying my mother was terrible. She asked me to go with her to confirm some doubts about other pains in her leg prior to a scheduled surgery 8 days from today. The doctor couldn't have been more rude. He seemed upset that we were even there, was dismissive and hurried my mom to ask Direct questions, and even had her get on the exam table and stressed her hip to purpously hurt her to prove a point that she needed surgery. I had my knee replacement surgery at Massachusetts General Hospital in 2020. It never seemed right but the surgeon who had a great reputation felt everything was going to be fine. I saw Dr Buchalter who was confident he knew what was going on. He took some fluid from my knee and diagnosed me with an infection. He performed surgery and redid my knee replacement and now I am fine. Who needs Mass General when you have Dr Buchalter in Delray Beach
