I had a total knee replacement and was very apprehensive because I had heard it was a difficult operation. Dr. Buchalter listened to my fears and concerns and thoroughly and patiently explained the operation and what I could expect. Dr. Buchalter is an excellent surgeon. He did a total knee replacement on my right knee. Everything went very well. It's just 2 weeks and I am walking. Recovering very nicely. Only have slight pain when I bend the knee to change to stand or sit. PT is more painful bec they want you to stretch beyond.
Professional and communication is very easy. His staff is knowledgeable and helpful I had a total knee replacement and in a month was weakling without walker or cane.
I knew I was in good hands.
In my book, Dr.Buchalter is A1. Surgery in December 2017, and after rehab I was back again on my feet with my femur fixed. Today he checked to see if anything was needed, but everything is good and I will see Dr. Buchalter in three years from now. What more can I ask for? Thanks so much, doctor.
Had hip replacement surgery four weeks ago. Before surgery was limping badly and had pain in both my hip area and my knee. Am now able to walk without a limp and without a cane, though I will still use it for a while when going out. I am so happy that the surgery has gone so well, thanks to Dr. Buchalter, who my primary doctor said is so experienced he could probably do the surgery with his eyes closed.
He is knowledgeable, very effective. Absolute faith in his ability.
