Craig Stevens was the best doctor I’ve ever had. I have not had such great care since he left for Avance some time ago. He diagnosed my husband when another practice just laughed off the symptoms. His staff was very good as well. I remarried and Dr. Stevens became the new spouse’s doctor as well. Dr. Stevens cared for this spouse until his death in 2012. I would never have voluntarily left this doctor. I give Dr. Stevens the highest praise. He was a loving and caring doctor. I miss our doctor-patient relationship.
I have been seeing Dr Steven's since he was a Dr in the urgent Care down the street 18 years ago. No nonsense, gives it to you straight, but still very personable. Open to your ideas for treatment too.
Avance Care Apex - Patients MUST be their own advocate at this practice - proceed with extreme caution!! This terrible office is the epitome of everything wrong with corporate run healthcare. Dr. Stevens joined this practice not even 30 days ago and since then my care has been seriously compromised. I was accused of taking a medication by a gentleman working at the front desk in front of a very busy waiting room - MAJOR HIPAA VIOLATION, that was later proven by more detailed lab testing to never be in my system. Dr Stevens has been my family doctor since he opened his practice. He is an excellent diagnostician and provided truly outstanding service throughout the years. He is very kind and caring and I highly recommend him.
His staff are rude and care little about their patients. Once, I didn't hear about my blood test result for over a month and when I called the office, I realized that they hadn't even checked the result! The test showed high cholesterol level, and if I hadn't called to check, I would never know, and who knows maybe died of a heart-attack! When you choose a PCP, you want to be able to trust him watching your health and any abnormality in your health condition. I'm afraid I can't recommend him.
Great first visit. Doctor Stevens spent a lot of time with me during what turned out to become the most complete physical I have ever had! I was very pleased.
The staff is great as is Dr. Stevens, BUT if you have an acute need due to illness you're likely not going to get an appointment and their only recommendation is to go to Urgent Care, and the person answering the phone will tell you this in a not so pleasant and impatient manner. Isn't the purpose of having a PCP to get care when you need it especially when Urgi Care copay is a lot more expensive than an office copay. Glad they're busy, but they need to either add staff or not take new patients
Great experience - personable, thorough, spent time with me
Dr. Stevens is excellent as is Kellie Furin, FNP
