I have been seeing Dr. Birnbach, for injections in my eyes, for 2.5 years. He is an amazing doctor! Within the 1'st few appts., he found just the right numbing medication that worked best for me and noted that in my file. He makes me feel comfortable, he's very personable, yet professional. I have seen Dr. Birnbach for annual check for more than a decade. Most of visits were routine, short and focused. My concerns were always clearly addressed and explained.

DO NOT GO! I went in seeking help with my vision loss that has worsened over a short period of time. This pretender came in, spent about 5 minutes with me, told me there was no solution and I was going blind and he'll see me in 6 months. I went to a real retina specialist who actually helped me. If you want a good doctor who listens and cares, or is at least able to communicate, seek your vision care elsewhere.
Dr. Birnbach is obviously well-versed in retina technology. He is friendly and explains one's eye situation clearly. His guidance has helped keep my macular degeneration in check for over ten years.
I was treated professionally and with respect.
