Dr. Messina showed no compassion or empathy to me. He did not honor his oath as a doctor and help me. He was condescending and rude and prejudged me. His attitude was atrocious and showed no real care to me as a patient. His bedside manner is severely lacking and he left me sitting in the room and didn't even make a follow up appointment for me. His behavior is unprofessional and the way I was treated was abhorrent. I was only wanting a doctor to help me walk again and genuinely care.

As we discussed during your office visit, My medical opinion is that the pain you are unfortunately experiencing is completely out of proportion for the deformity that you have and I don't think your foot is the primary cause of your pain and dysfunction. I did recommend seeing neurology ASAP. I did not feel comfortable doing surgery on something that I do not feel is the complete basis for your pain. I apologize for any miscommunication or that you do not feel like I treated you with compassion
Dr Messina is the absolute best! I have known him for a few years now and he has taken care of both of my sons. He was so great with my youngest son (7yrs old). He was in a good amount of pain and pretty scared as well and Dr Messina was so gentle and careful with him. I refer people to him all the time. He is not only a great doctor hes a great person and I highly recommend him!

I took my son for a visit for what I thought was maybe an ankle issue and he suspected an uncommon hereditary neuropathy and referred us to a neurologist. No doctor had previously noticed his foot deformity and thanks to Dr. Messina we now have a diagnosis for my son and seek the specialized care he needs. I am grateful he was so observant and well versed on even unusual disorders.
