Dr. Messina is very personable and knowledgeable and the office staff is extremely helpful.
I had the good fortune to select Dr. Messina to repair my fractured ankle in April of 2011. He performed the surgery which required the use of a metal plate, and 5 screws to stabilize the ankle. He was straightforward with regard to the diagnosis, surgery, and recovery, letting me know exactly what to expect. Recovery was slow, as was anticipated, involving considerable physical therapy to regain my full range of motion following removal of the cast. When it comes to your kids you want the very best so when my daughter, Madison had a lisfranc tear and needed surgery I couldn't have picked a more professional compassionate orthopedic surgeon and thank goodness I chose Dr. Messina because she's had such a tremendous recovery. Dr Messina knew exactly what was going on when I showed him the painful bump in my arch (now I know it is a plantar fibroma).
