Dr.Messina and his staff always made me feel at ease with my concerns. He offered all medical options and followed through very professionally.
I was operated on by Dr. Messina and him and his team did a wonderful job i had flat-foot surgery on both of my feet. I have never felt better it has been just about a year.

Dr Messina knew exactly what was going on when I showed him the painful bump in my arch (now I know it is a plantar fibroma). A quick cortisone shot and the bump was reduced in size and the pain was gone later that same day. I was out playing tennis the next day. It feels so good I forgot about my follow up! Dr. Messina is not only efficient and professional but absolutely the best bedside manner ever. Pays great attention to detail and has the best office staff to support him.
Patients be aware that this office overcharges and once they take your money, there is no way that you can get that fixed easily. They charged me for a boot that according to my insurance (AETNA) it should had been covered by the insurance if they had submitted the claim properly. I spoke to Carolina who is in charge of billing twice, AETNA also left several messages to her indicating that she needs to resubmit the claim with the right code for the boot but she has not resubmitted the claim.

I spoke with our office manager and she has already taken care of whatever the issue was with Aetna and your insurance. Your refund is already in the mail for the difference in what was overcharged or modified with your insurance. We apologize for any inconvenience with the insurance claim process and the cam walker. We hope everything else was excellent with your visit.
Dr. Messina has been excellent. He did my bunion surgery. I don't even live in the area but I drove to Weston just to see him because of his reputation. He also did my daughter's foot surgery. He is attentive, very personable, and really takes the time to make sure you feel taken care of. His assistant Elayne is awesome as well. And...No scar.
I went for a initial visit with Dr. Messina before I called I made sure he was in my network so I wouldn't have to pay anything out of pocket other than the co-pay. The doctor was great.However, When I went back for the second visit they told me I wasn't in network with them. The girl said sorry there was nothing she can do. I'm now stuck with a bill that wasn't my fault they never returned my CALLS and now i'm stuck 6 years later they send me to collections. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL.

Dr Messina is an excellent doctor who has compassion as well as a wonderful “bedside manner”. He is very personable and takes time with his patients to listen and explain things. I highly recommend him, and have done that with several of my friends.
