Dr. Ficke was very professional, kind and able to communicate with me information about my broken fingers, arthritis issues, provided PT exercises to improve the stiffness in my right hand and help me to learn to make a fist again with all my fingers on my right hand. His Resurgeons office in Sandy Springs has a parking fee and his Cumming office has no fee for parking. Both locations have X-Ray techs, very polite office staff and nurses. I highly recommend Dr. Ficke.
The doctor doesn’t pay attention. He is behind his screen typing. Answered vaguely and in condescending way my questions on possible surgery. I requested to be included in the e-portal & he dismissively said I had to speak to IT!!! He injected cortisone x 2. No relief. I will look for another doctor!
He has a professional staff as well. Appointment ran on time!
In July, 2021, I had a serious infection in my right thumb that turned into MRSA. Dr. Ficke operated on my thumb to remove an infected bone. I even lost my thumbnail. My thumb is back to what it was before. Dr. Ficke is the best.
Dr. Ficke is incredible! I had a very serious wrist fracture which required him to reconstruct my wrist joint over three surgeries. He not only did an incredible job, he is a great communicator and really listened and cared about me during my recovery. When I had issues with one splint he saw me immediately and got me a more comfortable and useful splint custom made. From beginning to end of visit I found all staff courteous and helpful. Dr. Ficke listened to my symptoms, took xrays and did a physical examination. He explained my issues in detail and brought up my xrays showing me problem areas. He created a plan of treatment and gave me time to ask questions. I am looking forward to completing the treatment plan and getting relief of my symptoms.
Dr. Ficke was professional and knowledgeable. He was prepared for my consult visit and was easy to schedule surgery with. Surgery was easy as he and his office staff did a great job Ietting me know what to expect and about aftercare. I just had my follow up and my carpal tunnel surgery is healing well. I would highly recommend him based on my experience.
