I am giving a one star only because I have to. I went to this doctor for workers comp. The front desk staff are so unprofessional. They were so loud talking about personal things I felt anxiety and had to leave the waiting room. I waited for 2 hours to see this doctor. He came in and was extremely rude. He examined me and put me into severe pain. He left the door open and the staff stood in the hall staring at me. He is very dismissive & condescending. He offers everyone steroid shots. RUN!!!
I've been seeing Dr. Szura for a number of years. He just completed carpel tunnel release surgery on my left hand (he performed the same surgery 9 years ago on my right hand). I've been very satisfied both times. I don't have any issues with my right hand anymore and I can tell that my left hand is on the fast track to recovery. Dr. Szura has performed surgeries on my husband, my mother, father and brother. We have all had excellent outcomes. I highly recommend Dr. Szura.
This is the first knee surgery done by Dr. Szura and my fourth one on this knee. The surgery went far better than I expected and my recovery time was fairly quick. After explaining my symptoms and where I was experiencing the pain in my knee, Dr. Szura gave me a great explanation of (most likely) the problem. He also detailed the procedure to fix my knee. Post op, I am doing extremely well and am pleased with my progress!! I highly recommend Dr. Szura, he is among the very best - believe me!
My experience with Dr. Szura was great! I am brand new to the area and was referred to him by my new PCP. I like his no baloney approach - he's up front and honest, and tells it like it is. I felt that he spent a sufficient amount of time with me and explained my X-rays and MRI results clearly and thoroughly. I felt very comfortable having him do my meniscus surgery. When I waited 10-15 minutes in an exam room, he apologized - don't see that very often.
