My first visit with the doctor was good. The staff and doctor were thorough and professional yet friendly. The doctor explained everything to me and listened to my concerns. I would recommend him.

He was very friendly and personable, procedure went well. No pain. Had some slight discomfort but wasn’t anything bad. Basically started,had a conversation and he said we were done.
Dr. Shay took over my urology care when my previous doctor moved his practice to a new location miles away. He is doing my prostate care since I've beat the prostate cancer and is making sure it doesn't return.
His willingness to ease my concerns about my test results. He ordered newer, more comprehensive test.
Dr. Shay explains in detail the plan regarding what to expect in “Active Surveillance” and any additional procedures that may come into play down the road. He also takes the time to answer any questions I may have. I am very glad I was referred to him by my primary care physician.
