Dr. Smith is excellent and so is the rest of the staff. My son had to have 2 teeth pulled because his baby teeth didn't want to fall out on their own and the adult teeth were already growing in. The staff and the doctor made my son who was very nervous feel comfortable and quickly removed the teeth. Thank you for continuing to show my son that going to the dentist isn't a painful experience.
I would give higher than 5 stars if I could. This is an excellent practice with top notch dental care and a fun environment for children. This was my child’s first trip to the dentist and she had a great time. Beautiful office, fun environment for children with a TV set up for them to watch while they recline back for their cleaning. Dr Powell and the hygienist provided excellent care. If you live within an hour, possibly more, of this practice, you should be bringing your kids here.
My Daughter loves Doctor K! He was very attentive and extremely polite to not only my scared 6 year old daughter, but to my husband and myself. Couldn’t have asked for a better environment or Dentist!

The staff did very well with taking care of my daughter and her teeth. At the end of the visit the children get to pick a book after their done. I love books so, that was a nice to see. The staff was friendly and kind. I also like how the facility in Visalia was very clean and organized. ????
I’ve been going to Powell since my little girl was tiny around 3 years old! I have nothing but great things to say about him and the staff! They are very patient and talk to her directly first. We had our first dental work done this week at the age of 6. Usually she just went in for cleanings. So I was a bit worried for her. But the amazing staff and dentist listened to her, talked to her and praised her, and were so gentle and comforting! Love them and so glad we found them!
We have been going to Dr. Powell for a few years. It has always been a good experience. The staff is wonderful and we never have to wait long.
