I am very pleased with the service provided by Dr. Ruben. The office visit was very professional and it only took 20 minutes. His staff was friendly and courteous.
I was diagnosed with bladder cancer and was referred to Dr. Rubens by my family physician. I could not be happier with my experience with Dr. Rubens. He is very thorough, caring and efficient. He worked me into his busy schedule quickly for a much needed surgery and I received excellent care from him and his staff! I could not have asked for a better doctor and would highly recommend his practice to anyone in need of a urologist. Excellent choice!

I found Dr.Rubens very personable and friendly and kept me informed throughout the process of solving my kidney stone problems. His office staff was professional and kept my appointments moving with minimal waiting.
I've been seeing Dr. Rubens for over 5 years now for several kidney stone episodes and resulting follow-up visits. He has been absolutely consistent in his friendly demeanor and listens and factors my own personal observations into his overall analysis of my situation. I especially appreciate that last point because I've had so many doctors that don't seem to listen. His staff are courteous and helpful, the office is always very clean, and I've never had to wait more than 5 to 10 minutes.
Dr Rubens is a great friend as well as great doctor. He has helped me thru some tough times with kidney stones. We've done lithotripsy, on some ,and on others, we've had to take a different approach. There is history of prostrate cancer in my family. I feel very blessed to have Dr. Rubens as my doctor and my friend.
Dr. Reubens seems to be a competent surgeon, but I did not care for his people skills. I had been dealing with a serious MRSA infection for months. My last visit to him, I was told he would not send off another culture because he did not want to know the results... even though his in house testing indicated a need. My concerns and health condition were completely irrelevent, as he was tired of dealing with my infection.

Dr. Rubens was a first class urologist that has taken me through some challenging times with my BPH. He is very professional but has the ability to alleviate your angst and comes across as a friend who is there to help you. Although not out of the woods completely, I have supreme confidence in Dr. Rubens and definitely know he has by well being as his major concern.
Dr. Rubens was able to quickly determine the severity of my kidney stones and provide me with the treatment options. He took the time to discuss the options with me and make sure that I was aware of the pros and cons of the various options. Ultimately the treatment he recommended was successful and minimally painful.
