Dr. Boyds is above and beyond any experience or expectation for vet care. Everyone that works there truly is passionate about animals. Every question is answered, no upsells or guilt trips, you never feel rushed or overbearing, appointments are thorough and honestly a really pleasant experience. I’m so thankful for the entire staff at Dr. Boyds! Thank you for taking the time to heal and understand our pets.
I am extremely disappointed with this office. My family has been bringing my mom’s dog here for over 7 years, so we are not new patients. We took her in on Saturday for an X-ray, blood work, and a general checkup. We were told that same day that she has fluid in her heart and lungs and that this is a critical condition. The doctor said that by Monday or Tuesday the test results would be back and that they would call me immediately so she could start medication right away. As a long time patient, when you call for an emergency and are told during business hours the vets are not able to see you dog; I am wondering why I continue to use this practice. The point of a vet is to have a relationship; not to just give them money for checkups and boarding. I am capable of going to an emergency vet during off hours; however during business hours when my dog is limping and yelping I expect my regular vet to see him.
we've taken two of our dogs here. One in other places needed a muzzle and calming meds...they took the muzzle off and like a dog whisperer our dog followed them willingly and happily. truly amazing. the other passed away in March 2025 at 17 years old..every time we bought her there they were nothing but kind, caring, amazing. i recommend 100000000000% these are the real dog whisperers.
We adopted our first dog a few months ago and brought them to Dr. Boyd’s as the primary vet based on a recommendation from a close friend. Because it’s my first dog, and my first vet, I honestly wasn’t sure what to expect, and didn’t have anything to compare them against. What I do know, though, is that everyone at Dr. Boyd’s treats my dog as if they were their own pet. They are incredibly caring and kind.
