I saw Dr. Toome once while she was practicing in Pennsylvania. I think it was the most irresponsible office visits I ever experienced. I went for a routine skin examination and for a vaginal itch. She looked at me for, perhaps, 45 seconds. When I told her about my itch, she did not even examine me and said, "I know what that is. You need to buy a zinc powder from me." I wouldn't recommend her cause one of her staff has no people skills and she pushes her office products on you as part of her so called professonial regime even though you can't really afford them out of the pocket and her physician assistant was late she took over when Dr toome was on vacation
Rude, cruel doctor who used a scar on my nose to show to 10 people on her staff as if I were part of a freak show. Worst bedside manner of any doctor I've ever been to. She was so incredibly cruel that I left in tears.
wouldn't take care of karetosis on first appt. Made me schedule another appt. Treatment only took 30 secs. Lengthy wait is accurate.
I went to Dr. Toome for comedones. She prescribed me Benzoyl Peroxide which is for inflammatory acne. She spent less than two minutes with me. She was very pushy about laser. As soon as I questioned her on other methods of treatment she got aggravated and left. She also wanted me to have chemical peels and microdermabrasion, which I've already had done with no success. This was my first visit to a dermatologist. Dr. Toome might be good at what she does, but you'd never know it because she spends only seconds with each patient. She is REALLY late every time. I wait in the lobby and then in the examination room. Her staff are annoyed and disdainful with the customers. I didn't fully understand my instructions so nothing positive came of my visit. This was a very negative experience.
