Toome is a joke. You will wait at least 2 hours to have her look at you for 5 seconds and have the 3 nurses that she brought in tell you what to take, buy, and slap on your face. HOWEVER, the estheticians are very helpful. At least the 2 that I've had were. Dr. M is very nice as well.
As a new patient I arrived 10 minutes early to fill out the extensive paperwork I knew would come. I was made to wait until my actual appointment time to be handed the paperwork. In all, I waited in the waiting room for more than an hour, and then a very rude person brought me into an exam room and told me to undress. Since I was there for my face this seemed an odd request. After sitting in the freezing cold exam room for 20 minutes, I got dressed and went down the hall to the restroom to kill some time and try to warm up. ... read more
I had a 12:30pm appointment on a Thursday. The reception staff is certainly friendly and the reception room is nice, with an HDTV and a complimentary Keurig machine. However, it hardly makes up for the 1 hour and 10 minute wait I had to suffer through (on my lunch break) only to be ushered into an examination room and wait another 20 minutes! Dr. Toome came rushing in at 2:05 while chewing gum, barely let me get a word in, briefly looked at my psoriasis, had her assistant write up 2 scripts, and tried to schedule me for lase... read more
If you look up "mill" in the dictionary, you will see a photo of Dr. Toome's waiting room as an illustration. Granted, she has some medical skills as a dermatologist, but they are quickly eclipsed by her plan of double and triple-booking her schedule and making as much money as humanly possible. I've had 3 appointments with her. I've waited for a total of 3.5 hours for those appointments, received about 8 minutes of care (total), and didn't even see her on my 3rd appointment after waiting 2 hours. This has been a terrible ex... read more
I went to Dr. Toome's Marlton office. Her staff was very professional and friendly. I went for a full body check. When making my appt her staff was very accommodating. Her office was beautiful and very clean. Dr. Toome was very helpful in answering all my questions/concerns. She took her time with me to make sure she answered all of my questions. The products she recommended were great. Defnitely would recommend this doctor
Don't go there! Unless you want to get rid of some cash! Worst staff too! Including the billing depart. rude, condecending, unfriendly
My family and I have been seeing Dr Toome for about 5 years now. Yes, you do wait sometimes but it is definitely worth it. Dr Toome is very knowledgeable and has never rushed me. She answered all of my questions and then when she left the room, had her support staff go over what she recommended to me again so that I understood everything. Her support staff is very nice. I recommend Dr Toome and her office to all my friends and family.
I have never met Dr. Toome, but I’ve been going to her office for over four years, and have been treated for the same skin problem by her other practitioners, with no success. On my last visit I was lucky enough to see Dr. Ana Newport who was very professional and caring. Dr.Newport took her time with me and she changed me to a new medication that has made my skin problems disappear. She made me feel very comfortable and I would recommend her to anyone.
Avoid, avoid, avoid. Eternal wait periods (often in excess of 90 minutes beyond your scheduled appointment), extremely brief sessions, arrogant, pushes you to buy her supplies (which are costly), and nails you with a 50 dollar charge if you dare to miss an appointment without "sufficient" notice, ie. definitely not the night before. Find a better practitioner elsewhere.
