Very efficient. Clear Options.
Dr. Mazahery was very professional. He provided very detailed information on how we would manage my surgery from beginning to end. He was very thorough pre-surgery to ensure I was physically and mentally ready for a difficult surgery. The surgery was a success and any questions I had, post-op, we’re answered to my satisfaction. Outstanding surgeon and an even better person. He diagnosed something that 8 other doctors missed. The surgery he performed gave immediate relief to the most serious symptoms. Others are gradually improving (7 1/2 weeks out). Nerve damage was extensive from a prior surgeon's shoddy work. I highly recommended anyone with spine or neck issues see Dr. Mazahery. He is the only surgeon I'll work with going forward.

I met with Dr. Mazahery for the first time on June 3rd. My back had suddenly left me in a lot of pain and I was sure the surgery would be the answer. Dr. Mazahery laid out my options and the last of which was the surgery. He said that with pain management in the beginning; I could expect to be pain-free in a relatively short time. He wrote a prescription for some oral steroids in descending doses to ease my pain until I get the targetted steroid epidural next week.
