I chose, with extreme care, Dr Mazahery to perform the spinal fusion on my back in 2019. I suffered a bad fall, crushed one of my thoracic vertebrae and as a result, found myself in the worst health crisis in my 60 years. Dr M was clear about the risks/pros/cons of surgery and what could reasonably be expected in the wake of major surgery. I have been a patient of Dr. Mazahery for a while and I would never go to anyone else for my orthopedic issues. I trust him with my life. He is knowledgeable and never recommends any procedure lightly and always errs on the side of caution. And he honestly listens to me. He has a super personality and a wonderful manner. He answers my questions and makes sure I understand everything. I never leave his office wondering what is going on. I would recommend him always.

I went to see Dr. Mazahery early in 2019 after going through months of pain management for excruciating pain in both legs and the pain only getting worse. Dr. Mazahery read my MRI and X-rays and immediately saw what the problem was. He told me that I needed open back fusion surgery for L3, L4 and L5. I underwent surgery on 4/2/19. Dr. Mazahery is a great doctor and terrific surgeon. The entire process from initial consultation through the 3 month post-op check up has been seamless. Dr. Mazahery is a great doctor. He has a conservative approach, and wants to do the right thing for the patient, even if that means less money for him and his practice. I would definitely recommend him!

I had a virtual visit with Dr Mazahary to review MRI results and talk abut next steps. He was able to look at the images while sharing his screen, allowing me to see exactly what he was talking about. We had more than enough time to talk and go over all my questions. Highly recommend!

Dr. Mazahery is a phenomenal Spinal surgeon. He took during our appointment and answered all questions that I had. He was very caring and supportive when it came to my medical issue and complaints. I highly recommend Dr. Mazahery and Ortho Virginia. They are the only Orthopedic providers that I trust with my ortho related issues.
