I went in to be examined to see if I had macular degeneration. The staff were kind, professional, friendly, and I got a very thorough examination. Dr. Jain explained everything to me very clearly and made sure I understood what was going on. Given how stressful the situation could have been, it wasn’t in large part to Dr. Jain and his staff.

Dr. Cheng is a great neurologist; however, his availability is very limited and his staff is terrible. When we were referred, I called the office and the staff told me that they had the referral but we would have to wait 1.5-2 weeks for the 'referral person' to review the referral and contact us. Two weeks later I call back and speak to that same person, she told me in order to get anything started we had to fill out a new patient form online. Wow, why didn't she tell me that 2 weeks ago? Dr. Jain is always easy to converse with and answers all my questions in a clear and concise manner. The only negative is the wait time after check in.
I saw Dr Tory Prestera, who substituted for Dr Guam, today to discuss visual loss in my L eye. Dr Guam had requested my records for all of the were care specialists I had seen since the initial vision loss in 2012. Before seeing Dr P, I was given several tests by his staff. Dr P did not go over the tests and basically was disinterested in hearing my concerns. He was a poor listener and had no bedside manner whatsoever. Nunca contestan el teléfono, ni regresan la llamada cuando dejas mensaje, para hacer una cita tienes que ir personalmente a hacerla, el servicio del personal de la oficina es muy lento para tramitar referencias a especialistas o para dar las ordenes para exámenes, tengo mas de un mes esperando que me den una referencia para ir con el endocrinologo a pesar de que mis estudios indican que hay un alto riesgo de malignidad en la tiroides. Dr. Jain is the best! Very thorough, patient, takes as much time as needed to explain conditions very clearly.
Everyone in the office was friendly, efficient, and explained all that was going on.
