Had an appointment for colonoscopy on 8-21. Clear prep instructions were emailed weeks before. Check in was smooth and swift. Preop assessment was very quick and accurate. The nurse staff is very experienced and was able to answer all of my questions (I am an MD and I know what to ask). Dr Hanna is also knowledgeable, very competent yet very down to earth with excellent bedside manners. From the first time I met with him until discharge, I was very impressed. I am a retired RN and have experienced many physicians' skills in both communication and medical procedures.. I received very professional service during a colonoscopy procedure from Dr. Hanna and all the staff at Tucson Gastroenterology Institute in July 2024. I had an 8:40 am appointment, I arrived at 8:10 am (30 min. early, as requested). After checking in I was called from the waiting area to start the process at 8:25 am. And I was walking out after the procedure was complete at 9:20 am. Everyone was very friendly and professional. Outstanding job guys! Keep up the good work.

Dr. Hanna & his team, were very well organized with attention & thoroughness, precision & understanding of detecting the source of my gut pain with bouts of vomiting, etc. for awhile now. 'ALL worked like a well oiled machine' - thorough with no waste of time.

I had 2 days of rectal bleeding and couldn't get in for evaluation and surgery for weeks !! But Dr. Hanna's office called me back and got me in the next day for office visit and had surgery 4 days later. Everything ended up fine ......No pain--no shame and other than a gallon of yucky poop drink it was the easiest surgery I've ever had !!!!!!! Thank you again Tucson Gastroenterology .

I was treated very promptly with no waiting, although I was there early. The staff were very courteous, friendly, and helpful. Dr. Hanna is wonderful. He was also very friendly and put me at ease. He explained things very well after the procedure. I am very grateful that he was referred by my primary care doctor to be my physician.

After my last routine colonoscopy the doctor said I was fine and to repeat in 10 years. This year, 10 years later, my primary care physician referred me to Dr. Hanna for a consultation--because routine colonoscopies are no longer recommended for asymptomatic seniors like me.
