Dr. Moinfar should be rated a Top Doc in his area of expertise! Although I live in Annapolis, the drive to his GB office was well worth the travel time! His entire staff have his spirit of care, pride, knowledge & a dash of humor that makes the process less intimidating. Dr Moinfar has my utmost RESPECT & TRUST! Thank you for my brand new knees!!!! Absolutely! Dr. Moinfar did both of my knees, about a year apart. I'm so pleased with the work that he did to help me walk again without any pain. I play golf regularly and don't need to take any Advil or any pain relief medicine. I lived with my knee pain for approximately 5 years until it got so bad that I hated to go to the store for fear that the product I wanted was in the back of the store. Dr. Moinfar has done two surgeries on me and I couldn’t have asked for better results. He doesn’t mind answering any questions for you and he explains everything very well. He also has an amazing staff around him. I felt comfortable and welcomed from the beginning to the end of all of my visits. I have and always will recommend everyone to him and his team.
After tearing my ACL and meniscus just under a year ago, I was recommended to see Dr.Moinfar as a second opinion and he go right dow to business, explaining every detail of what had happened and what needed to be done. Dr. Moinfar explained all of the options I had for surgery and went into depth about what he was going to do. Going for appointments and checkups since surgery has been easy and quick. The staff is also awesome!
In early September, I broke my left humerus and clavicle in a bicycling accident. Dr. Moinfar and staff were just great. (Nick and the other PA were fantastic throughout the 3 months of my recovery.) After several weeks in the cast, the cast was removed and my arm was put in a movable brace that allowed me to do physical therapy and re-build my arm. Having not been thrilled to undergo a second ACL reconstruction, I couldn't have asked for a better doctor! In the initial pre-op appointments, Dr. Moinfar and Nick explained every element of the surgery clearly and in layman's terms. This was my second opinion and having caught something the previous doctor hadn't (or at least had the courtesy to make me aware of), I was confident in and trusting of Dr. Moinfar. Dr. Moinfar is an excellent doctor. I trust him 100%!!! He has successfully completed four surgeries on me and treated a broken ankle-- a meniscus tear in my knee, a bone spur in my shoulder and carpal tunnel surgeries in both hands. All treatments were successful. I travel a bit of a distance but it is worth it because I know I can trust his work and recommendations. He has also treated other family members as well.
He took care of my teenager, with a tear in his shoulder. He was amazing with him. Made him feel comfortable, confident of the future and that he would get back to all his sports activities. The whole experience was not stressful nor frightening. He went out of his way to normalize everything we were feeling. We were referred to Dr. Moinfar by our close family friend who is also and Orthopedic surgeon. He had used Dr. Moinfar for himself. That is the best kind of referral.
